I'm Kayla -
The Owner and Designer of Citrus Velvet Interiors. As an ex-professional contemporary dancer, ex-penguin feeder, and ex-communications coordinator, I understand that the heart of every home is as unique as my background. My experience has given me the ability to see emotion and movement in everything I design, adapt to new spaces quickly, and visualize a complete product. From what started as an obsession, with just my husband and I renovating many homes within the New England area, turned into an unwavering passion. With a unique background that blends unconventional paths with strategic aesthetics, I offer a fresh, versatile perspective that sets any space apart.

I love anything lemon flavored. Lemon bars are absolute pure bliss for me. I'm not ashamed (even though I probably should be) to say that this is where "Citrus" came from.

My favorite countries in the entire world are England and New Zealand! If you go to London, check out the Churchill Arms. If you get the chance to go to New Zealand, try and swim with the dolphins in Kaikoura!
Cue the only song I could think of to hum was the Jurassic Park theme song.
